Man Utd Legend Selects His EPL Team Of The Season

Manchester United legend Gary Neville, who won eight Premier League titles, has selected his Team of the Season, although he left out one of the league’s top scorers.

Neville, who is now a pundit for Sky Sports News, included five Manchester City stars in his team, Although he left out Sergio Aguero for Robert Firmino.

The former Red Devils defender only selected one player from his fomer employers, with David de Gea being named in the team.

Neville also explained why chose City’s Raheem Sterling over Tottenham Hotspur’s Christian Eriksen.

“I felt as if I had to get in Sterling or Sane,” Neville told Monday Night Football, according to the Mirror.
“I hate to think of him [Sane] wearing a City shirt, he can be one of the great players.
“What made me go for Raheem in the end is the big moments. He had an influence. I’ll go for Raheem Sterling.”
