Mohamed Salah Up Against Manchester United & Burnley Stars For Premier League Player Of The Season
Mohamed Salah could add yet another accolade to his outstanding 2017/18 campaign after being nominated for the Premier League Player of the Season award, and a Manchester United star and a surprise Burnley player are also among the six nominees.
The Liverpool superstar has equalled the record for the most goals in a 38-game Premier League season, and needs only one more strike to become the sole record holder.
He also became the first player ever to win three Premier League Player of the Month awards, and has already claimed the PFA (Professional Footballers’ Association) and FWA (Football Writers Association) Player of the Season accolades.
He could now crown his brilliant campaign by winning the official Premier League Player of the Season award, which is sponsored by EA SPORTS.
Salah is nominated alongside Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea, Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane, Manchester City duo Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling, and surprise nominee James Tarkowski of Burnely.

Salah could become the first African to lift the award, and follow in the footsteps of Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante, who won it in 2016/17.
